Important Sales and Shipping Policies
To ensure your order is processed timely, please note some important
information:
AN
ADULT SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED BY LAW FOR ALL DELIVERIES
States
We Ship To:
Due to legal restrictions on shipments of wine and other alcoholic
beverages, we are permitted to ship to AK,
DC, CA, CO, GA, HI, ID, IA, IL, LA, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, SC, TX, VA,
WA, WI, WV, WY.
Nanstad
Winery recognizes and complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding
sale of alcohol to minors. We clearly state when you place an order that no
purchase may be made by anyone under 21 years of age. All shipments require an
adult signature; proof of age will be verified by delivery carrier. No
deliveries will be made to a visibly intoxicated person. Failure to produce age
verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is
produced, or it may be shipped back to the place of origin. If no one is
available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made.
All associated costs will be the responsibility of and will be charged to the
customer.
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Wine orders
placed Sunday through Tuesday are processed the following day. Wine orders
placed Wednesday through Saturday are processed the following Monday. Orders are
processed in this manner to prevent your wine from sitting in a storage area
over the weekend. Please allow a minimum of 5-7 days for normal delivery. Additionally, in
cases of extreme weather conditions (i.e., heat and/or cold) Nanstad Winery
reserves the right to delay the release of wine shipments to ensure the highest
quality of products at the time of arrival.
Each state has its own laws governing the direct
shipment of alcohol.
We make
no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any
state outside of Washington. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of
alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on
your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. When you
place your order, title to the wine you order passes to you as soon as it leaves
our doors; it is up to you to verify the laws in your state. In the unlikely
event that a shipment is confiscated or insurance coverage is refused due to a
violation of law, we reserve the right to withhold a refund or replacement.
